Now in its 13th Historical Re-enactment, the “Lady of the races” warms up the engines for an edition full of unmissable news to be held from March 31 to April 2 2022, reconfirming herself as a protagonist within the Italian Major Events Championship 2022 of ACI Storico, reserved for the most important classic regularity races.

Also this year there will be competition and spectacularity, confirming the Milano-Sanremo Cup as an unforgettable entertainment opportunity with a unique and exclusive charm for Italian and foreign crews, both men and women.

The Coppa Milano-Sanremo, for the first time, will officially start on Thursday 31 March at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, a cult place of motorsport. Here the event, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the racetrack, will pay homage to the legendary Temple of Speed with an absolutely exclusive experience for the participants. In fact, in addition to the traditional technical and sports checks and the always exciting free laps on the track, i classic enthusiasts will have the opportunity to try their hand at 11 new special stages on the iconic track which will also include the ancient and legendary elevations and some parts used exclusively in the recent ACI Rally Monza race, the final stage of the FIA World Rally Championship.

Three then the actual race days, during which the crews will be able to challenge each other in over one hundred special stages, thus making the race even more engaging and captivating from a sporting point of view.

In the afternoon the inaugural parade of the cars will leave for Milan to be presented in front of the historic headquarters of AC Milano in Corso Venezia, in the heart of the city.

The “Lady of the races” returns to the Monza Autodrome also in 2022. The event will be held from 31 March to 2 April 2022, returning to occupy its traditional place in the calendar of the competitive season and reconfirming itself as a protagonist within the Italian Major Events 2022 Championship of ACI Storico, reserved for the most important classic regularity races.

CARS ADMITTED

Participation in the race will be for cars built between 1906 and 1990, equipped with a FIVA passport, or FIA Heritage chip, or ASI homologation, or ACI Sport chip, or belonging to a brand registry, to embrace the important heritage. history of the different groupings. Following the strong response of the last edition and with the intention of broadening the target audience, the Organization will propose another category reserved for youngtimers, instant classic and modern supercars called “Rendez-Vous “.
