{"id":14593,"date":"2023-09-27T14:25:31","date_gmt":"2023-09-27T12:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monzanet.it\/the-monza-rally-warms-up-the-engines-meeting-1-and-2-december\/"},"modified":"2024-07-02T14:55:45","modified_gmt":"2024-07-02T12:55:45","slug":"the-monza-rally-warms-up-the-engines-meeting-1-and-2-december","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monzanet.it\/en\/the-monza-rally-warms-up-the-engines-meeting-1-and-2-december\/","title":{"rendered":"The Monza Rally warms up the engines, meeting 1 and 2 December!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>10 special tests in the Temple of Speed \u200b\u200band on the dirt roads of the WRC for the last round of the Sparco Italian Absolute <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Championship and the Italian Terra <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Championship.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Monza <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span><\/strong> is back and the passion is rekindled at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the cars of the <strong>Italian Absolute <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Sparco Championship<\/strong> and the <strong>Italian <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Terra Championship<\/strong> which, next <strong>1 and 2 December<\/strong> , will close the 2023 season right in the Temple of Speed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>78.94 kilometers<\/strong> over <strong>10 special stages<\/strong> await the protagonists of the Italian <span class=\"il\">rally<\/span> who will have to face the fast sections of the track and the technical dirt roads in the Monza Park on a route that includes <strong>44% asphalt<\/strong> and <strong>56% dirt<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>After being the scene of the final act of the WRC World <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Championship in 2020 and 2021, Monza returns to being a protagonist in national <span class=\"il\">rallies<\/span> . A history, that of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and the <span class=\"il\">rallies<\/span> which begins at the end of the 70s, first with the Monza <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> , then, since 2002, with the Monza <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Show, an event which saw parades on the asphalt and land of the Autodrome and the park, great personalities from the world of motoring and entertainment. 2023 will be an &#8220;absolute first&#8221; for Monza which will welcome the protagonists of the Sparco Italian Absolute <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Championship and the Tricolore <span class=\"il\">Rally<\/span> Terra for their final act.<\/p>\n<p>There will be <strong>100<\/strong> <strong>crews<\/strong> at the start of the Grand Finale of the Italian series with registrations open from 30 October 2023 until 22 November and a selection that will include a chronological parameter in the event of requests that exceed the maximum number of registered crews. The start, Friday 1 December, will be given on the starting straight of the Temple of Speed \u200b\u200bbefore entering the 2.53 km <strong>Power Stage \u201cMonza 1\u201d<\/strong> . On the first day three more Special Trials: <strong>Junior 1<\/strong> , <strong>Serraglio 1<\/strong> and <strong>Serraglio 2<\/strong> for a total of <strong>36.10 km<\/strong> .
