The track&#8217;s 5,973 meters have seen some of the most iconic single-seaters that have competed in the <strong>Formula 1 World Championship<\/strong> run over the past ten days, the <strong>Modified<\/strong> <strong>499Ps<\/strong>, or Prototypes that are close relatives from the cars that got off to a great start in the WEC, seizing a hat trick in the inaugural Qatar race. Then from <strong>Thursday,<\/strong> <strong>March<\/strong> <strong>27<\/strong> to <strong>Sunday, March 30<\/strong>, it was the turn of the <strong>Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe<\/strong>. The inaugural leg of the Maranello-based company&#8217;s one-make series saw the participation of 72 drivers representing 22 countries and 30 dealers, who divided their time between the three scheduled competitions: Coppa Shell AM, Trofeo Pirelli&amp;Pirelli AM and Coppa Shell.   <\/p>\n<p>Around 7,000 fans came to admire the <strong>296 Challenge<\/strong> on Saturday and Sunday, and many on Sunday reached the central grandstand, where, waiting for them, were little red flags with the unmistakable Prancing Horse that were flown before the start of Race 2 of the Shell AM Cup. Also much appreciated were the <strong>Fanzone<\/strong> with DJ Regaz, food trucks and games for the little ones. The three Sunday races were won by Germany&#8217;s Boris Gideon (Coppa Shell AM) from Autohaus Ulrich, the U.S. Dylan Medler (Trofeo Pirelli) from The Collection, the Netherlands&#8217; Michael Verhagen (Trofeo Pirelli AM) from Ferrari Warszawa, and Sweden&#8217;s Christian Kinch (Coppa Shell) from Formula Racing.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We experienced a very intense weekend,&#8221; was the comment of Autodromo Nazionale Monza president <strong>Giuseppe Redaelli<\/strong>, &#8220;with the presence of as many as 72 drivers and a large representation of foreigners.
