Once again for the 96th Italian Grand Prix, BrianzAcque will be present inside the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, increasing its commitment to promote the consumption of public tap water \u2014 free and locally sourced (zero-kilometer).<\/p>\n

The new Memorandum of Understanding between BrianzAcque and Autodromo Nazionale Monza consolidates a partnership that began in 2022 and has expanded year after year in the name of environmental sustainability. The agreement aims to significantly reduce the use of plastic bottles, thereby avoiding the production, transportation, and disposal of thousands of single-use containers.<\/p>\n

A Green Initiative for the Environment and the Public<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the three-day event (September 5\u20136\u20137), there will be 9 microfiltered water dispensers \u2014 with enhanced dispensing power and cooling capacity \u2014 placed in strategic high-traffic areas: Central Grandstand (2 dispensers); Camping Parco; Outer Parabolica Grandstand; Serraglio; Ascari Chicane; Paddock (2 dispensers); City of Monza stand.<\/p>\n

These will be joined by the dispenser in the Press Room, now a fixed installation, one on the ACI Terrace, and a new kiosk at the Public Safety Offices. The real novelty this year will be found in the Fanzone: three \u201csuper kiosks\u201d offering 10 taps each. In addition, the permanent “House of Water” located by the Fangio statue will also be operational, as it is all year round. In total, over 40 water access points<\/strong> will be available.<\/p>\n

The water \u2014 still or sparkling, cold or room temperature \u2014 will be safe and monitored, microfiltered without altering its original properties.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThe partnership with BrianzAcque is now a cornerstone of our sustainability vision: we share a concrete goal to reduce single-use plastic consumption, encouraging more responsible and environmentally friendly habits,\u201d said Giuseppe Redaelli<\/strong>, President of Autodromo Nazionale Monza. \u201cFrom this perspective, our collaboration with BrianzAcque is strategic for the development of the Park. Our legendary circuit, known as the Temple of Speed, has always been a place where innovation and respect for the environment come together. This year, we will provide 26 water points with 128 taps.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tap water, locally sourced, of excellent quality, is a public asset \u2014 one to promote and enhance, including through occasions like this. Bringing it inside the Temple of Speed means introducing it to hundreds of thousands of fans from all over the world \u2014 another way to showcase the innovation and environmental responsibility that drive our daily work.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Less Plastic, More Sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the 2024 GP weekend, an estimated 103,000 half-liter single-use plastic bottles<\/strong> were saved thanks to the consumption of over 51,000 liters of water<\/strong>, specifically 51,681 liters \u2014 an increase of over 60% compared to 2023.<\/p>\n

At an iconic site in Brianza like the Autodromo, even water takes the spotlight. Not just speed \u2014 the 2025 Italian Grand Prix will also be a celebration of local excellence and forward-thinking sustainability.<\/p>\n
