The Formula 1 Pirelli Italian Grand Prix 2025 has concluded, registering an extraordinary success in terms of spectators, with 369,041<\/strong> attendees over the days of the event, an increase of more than 10 percent compared to last year’s edition (335,000). Never before have so many people attended a sports event in Italy. <\/p>\n

Winning the 96th edition of the Italian race, under the eyes of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini<\/strong>, was Max Verstappen<\/strong> at the wheel of the Red Bull RB21. For the Dutchman, it is the third success at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza after those of 2022 and 2023. Completing the 53 laps of the track in 1h13’24″325, at an average speed of 250.706 km\/h, Max also won the fastest race in history, breaking the previous record that had stood since 2003 (Michael Schumacher’s success with Ferrari in 1h14’19″838). <\/p>\n

As a year ago, the other two steps of the podium were occupied by McLaren F1 Team drivers: Britain’s Lando Norris<\/strong> and Australia’s Oscar Piastri<\/strong>, the championship leader.<\/p>\n

They were honored by the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi<\/strong>, the President of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana<\/strong>, and the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Automobile Club of Italy, Tullio Del Sette<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Also among the authorities was ACI President-elect Geronimo La Russa<\/strong>, still serving as president of the Automobile Club Milano.<\/p>\n

In fourth and sixth place were Ferraristi Charles Leclerc<\/strong> and Lewis Hamilton<\/strong>. Andrea Kimi Antonelli<\/strong> (Mercedes AMG Petronas) finished ninth after a ten-second penalty.<\/p>\n

Such public success rewards the joint efforts of Automobile Club d’Italia, as the national sports federation and as such organizer of the event, Automobile Club Milano, Autodromo Nazionale Monza and all the suppliers and partners involved in organizing the event. All have worked with dedication to ensure a high-level experience for all fans. <\/p>\n

This success once again underscores the appeal of the Italian Grand Prix as one of the most anticipated and followed events on the World Championship calendar, as well as the ability of the entire Italian organizational system to attract and manage major international sporting events.<\/p>\n

As for the other races Luke Browning<\/strong> (Hitech TGR) took his first Formula 2 victory at the end of the Feature Race. Joshua D\u00fcrksen finished in second position ahead of Spaniard Pepe Mart\u00ed (Campos Racing). Leonardo Fornaroli<\/strong> (Invicta Racing), supported by the home crowd, finished in fifth position. Seventh was Gabriele Min\u00ec<\/strong> (Prema Racing). <\/p>\n

The Formula 3 Feature Race saw the first success of Thailand’s Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak<\/strong> (Campos Racing). The Italians: 14th Brando Badoer<\/strong> (Prema Racing), 19th Nicola Marinangeli<\/strong> (AIX Racing) and 22nd Nicola Lacorte<\/strong> (DAMS Lucas Oil). <\/p>\n

Autodromo Nazionale Monza makes an appointment for Formula 1 fans to the 97th edition of the Italian Grand Prix that will be scheduled from September 4 to 6, 2026. In the coming days it will already be possible to purchase tickets. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
