For the nineteenth time in the championship\u2019s twenty-year history, the battle for the crown will be decided at the final round of one of Europe\u2019s most prestigious GT series.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"1333\">Reigniting the championship fight were <strong data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"806\">Tommaso Mosca and Carl Bennett<\/strong>, who claimed their third victory of the season at Barcelona behind the wheel of the <strong data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"911\">AF Corse Ferrari<\/strong>. That success revived the Italo-British duo\u2019s title hopes, now just 11 points adrift of the championship leader, Hungary\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1073\">Levente R\u00e9v\u00e9sz (Mercedes\u2013Motopark)<\/strong>, and six points behind the reigning champions, <strong data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1148\">Simon Reicher (Austria)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1184\">Christopher Haase (Germany)<\/strong> in the <strong data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1217\">Eastalent Racing Audi<\/strong>. In Barcelona, both rival crews had to settle for seventh and eighth place, leaving everything open ahead of Monza.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1887\">The <strong data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1349\">Pro-Am<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1354\" data-end=\"1360\">Am<\/strong> classes also promise intense battles on the legendary Monza circuit. In Pro-Am, <strong data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1492\">Steve Jans and Aaron Walker (Mercedes\u2013GetSpeed)<\/strong> arrive at the top of the standings, but with just a single point separating them from <strong data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1635\">Valentin Pierburg and Dominik Baumann (Mercedes\u2013SPS)<\/strong>. In Am, <strong data-start=\"1644\" data-end=\"1699\">Gino Forgione and Michele Rugolo (Ferrari\u2013AF Corse)<\/strong>, after scoring their eighth win of the season, hold a narrow four-point advantage over <strong data-start=\"1787\" data-end=\"1822\">Mark Sansom (McLaren\u2013Garage 59)<\/strong>, who finished third in Barcelona alongside <strong data-start=\"1866\" data-end=\"1886\">Charlie Hollings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1889\" data-end=\"2376\">Also taking to the track at Monza will be the <strong data-start=\"1935\" data-end=\"1967\">Euroformula Open (Formula 3)<\/strong>, led by <strong data-start=\"1976\" data-end=\"2017\">Tymek Kucharczyk (Poland, BVM Racing)<\/strong>, ahead of <strong data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2062\">Michael Shin (Korea, Motopark)<\/strong> by 23 points and <strong data-start=\"2080\" data-end=\"2117\">Yevan David (Sri Lanka, Motopark)<\/strong>, 28 points behind. The program also includes the <strong data-start=\"2167\" data-end=\"2184\">GT Cup Europe<\/strong>\u2014with Italy\u2019s <strong data-start=\"2198\" data-end=\"2213\">Luca Franca<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2247\">Ian Rodriguez (Guatemala)<\/strong> leading the championship\u2014and the <strong data-start=\"2281\" data-end=\"2288\">GB3<\/strong> series, the British single-make championship featuring the <strong data-start=\"2348\" data-end=\"2370\">Tatuus MSV GB3-025<\/strong> cars.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2378\" data-end=\"2794\">The <strong data-start=\"2382\" data-end=\"2407\">International GT Open<\/strong> drivers will take to the track on <strong data-start=\"2442\" data-end=\"2454\">Thursday<\/strong> for collective testing (3:35\u20134:35 p.m.); <strong data-start=\"2496\" data-end=\"2506\">Friday<\/strong> will feature two free practice sessions (11:42 a.m.\u201312:42 p.m. and 4:12\u20135:12 p.m.); <strong data-start=\"2591\" data-end=\"2603\">Saturday<\/strong> will see the third free practice (9:00\u20139:40 a.m.) and qualifying (11:35 a.m.\u201312:00 p.m. for Driver 1; 2:50\u20133:15 p.m. for Driver 2).
