From 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the customary technical and sporting scrutineering took place, along with free practice laps on the track, preceding the official start of the race with the first regularity trials at 2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"597\">In the afternoon, the cars headed to Milan, where they took part in a striking parade in Piazza Citt\u00e0 di Lombardia and then, as tradition dictates, passed in front of the headquarters of the Automobile Club Milano on Corso Venezia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"599\" data-end=\"978\">The competition featured some of the most prestigious names in historic motorsport, including Mario Passanante and Alessandro Molgora in their 1937 Fiat 508C, as well as Francesco and Giuseppe Di Pietra with another Fiat 508C, this one dating from 1938. Also competing are Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli, already winners of numerous regularity races, driving a 1935 Fiat 508S.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"1024\">Around seventy crews took part in the event.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1268\">The race will resume tomorrow, Friday, March 27, and conclude on Sunday, March 29, following a route inspired by the original 1906 course.
