OVER 650 STUDENTS IN MONZA FOR “TOGETHER FOR ROAD SAFETY”

At the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, in parallel with the ACI Safe Driving Center in Vallelunga in Lainate, the “Together for Road Safety” day took place—an initiative promoted by the Automobile Club of Italy and the Ministry of Education and Merit, aimed at spreading training programs and raising awareness about road safety education.

The event involved more than 650 students and was structured through activities held in both Monza and Lainate, where the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, and the President of ACI, Geronimo La Russa, were present.

At the Monza circuit, the program dedicated to primary school pupils combined fun and educational moments: from karting in the square to the ACI format “Young Champions of Road Safety,” included in the educational offerings on the MIM’s Edustrada portal, as well as visits to the Carabinieri stand dedicated to biodiversity. Students in the final two years of primary school were also given the opportunity to try an immersive simulator and take part in a guided tour of the facility.

In the afternoon, attention shifted to secondary school students, who took part in a guided tour of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. This particularly meaningful experience helped turn theoretical training into a direct perception of risk, strengthening awareness of the dangers associated with distracted or improper driving.
