A packed weekend of racing in the Temple of Speed with Formula X Racing Weekend

The last round of the season of the series will bring to the Brianza track as many as 285 drivers who will compete for the titles of various championships.

Formula X makes a stop at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October, for the last Formula X Racing Weekend seasonal, the Temple of Speed will become the stage for 18 races in two days, with tight rhythms between one competition and another and a weekend that will offer a non-stop show to fans, who will be able to enter the Circuit for free for both days and have free access to both the stands and the paddock of the Autodrome.

12 series will be involved on the track, with a record number of entrants. As many as 285 drivers are in fact ready to battle it out to win the top step of the Brianza podium in the various categories: FX3, Predator’s Trophy, FX Pro Series, ATCC, FX2, Formula Classic, Formula Class Junior, FX600, Legends Cars Italia, Super Seven , ESET Twingo Cup and Speed Euroseries. The free practice and qualifying sessions of all classes will take place on Saturday, with the start of the races already in the late afternoon of the same day, before a Sunday of pure racing with 15 competitions in a few hours.

In some categories you will compete only for pride and with the championships already decided. This is the case of the FX3 – which will race together with the riders of the Predator’s Trophy – in which Lyle Schofield (Rawstorne Racing) arithmetically won the title in the Magione round. Even in the FX Pro Series , a division of only Tatuus T-014, the games have already closed for a few weeks, with Andrea Bodellini (Eureka Competition) who became the 2022 absolute champion. Both FX3 and FX Pro Series will compete in two 20-minute races in Monza.

The season finale between the GT and Touring cars of the ATCC, which sees the couple formed by Giuseppe Bodega and Fulvio Ferri (Meteco Corse) in the absolute ranking preceding the reigning champion Denis Babuin (Bolza Corse), rallied after the double obtained in the last round of Magione and with 13 lengths to replace the direct rivals. Enrico Riccardi (Elitcart Sport) also returns to the fight for the title, despite having to recover more points. There are two competitions scheduled, both lasting 20 minutes.

A duration of 18 minutes is foreseen for the double appointment of the FX2 , in which Andrea Masci (Ruote Scoperte Motorsport) will try to take advantage of the absence of the leader Francesco Galli to overcome him and triumph in the series. Together with the FX2s, the Formula 3 and Formula Abarths of the Formula Classic will also start.

Another combined line-up will be that between the Formula Class Junior and the FX600, for a double round of 18 minutes. In the Formula Class Junior the drivers are divided between the Platinum, Gold and Silver classes, with Marco Visconti (Stilo Corse) at the top of the overall ranking. In the FX600 , there will be 10 starters in the events of the Temple of Speed.

The longest races scheduled are those of the Super Seven , with the drivers driving their Caterhams that will compete for two 30-minute heats. The starting grid will be packed, with over 50 riders at the start and guaranteed overtaking and counter-overtaking. Tussle is also expected between the 38 Twingoes of the ESET Twingo Cup , with two races of 20 minutes each.

The dense timetable of the two days in Brianza will also be seasoned by the competitions of Legends Cars Italia , with 47 entrants to fill the grid twice with 18-minute races, and of the Speed Euroseries , with the drivers who will fight instead in two 20-minute heats moon.

Racing fans will be able to enjoy a show for all tastes without having to buy a ticket . To access the racetrack, both for Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, it will in fact only be necessary to pay for the parking, by buying the special ticket at the entrances of Vedano and Maria delle Selve on the day of the event, with a cost of 15 euros for each car and 5 euros for each motorcycle. It will also be possible to admire the cars from a few meters by freely entering the paddock of the Temple of Speed. Over the weekend the JustSpeed Monza Karting will also be open in the internal square of the Parabolica-Alboreto Curve.
