MONZA HOSTS THE LAMBORGHINI WORLD FINALS: GROUP TESTING GETS UNDERWAY TOMORROW
For the first time in its history, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza will host the Lamborghini World Finals. The 13th edition of the event will get underway in earnest this weekend, but starting tomorrow, the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 cars will take to the track at the Temple of Speed for the collective test sessions.
Before the World Finals, Monza will host the sixth and final round of the three continental championships: Europe, Asia and North America. It promises to be a particularly eagerly awaited weekend, with several titles still up for grabs and battles set to keep fans on the edge of their seats right up to the final chequered flag.
In the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, the Pro class is finely balanced. Just one point separates the DL Racing pairing of Kevin Gilardoni and Simone Iaquinta from the Oregon Team duo of Patrik Fraboni and Silas Rytter. With such a narrow margin, the final round of the season at the Brianza circuit will be decisive.
The battle for the Pro class title is also still wide open in the North American and Asian series, adding to the anticipation ahead of the Monza event. Each of the three continental championships will feature two races, both lasting 45 minutes.
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals programme will continue on Saturday, 24 October, with qualifying sessions determining the starting grids for the four final races. All four races will last 45 minutes, with two dedicated to the Pro and Pro-Am classes and the other two to the Am and Lamborghini Cup classes.
Admission to the circuit will be free, with parking the only chargeable service. Access to the Paddock, however, will require a free ticket, available exclusively through TicketOne at the following link: https://www.ticketone.it/artist/lamborghini . For safety reasons, access to the Paddock may be restricted if visitor numbers are high.
The Fan Zone will offer visitors even more to enjoy, with a relaxation area, food trucks and a dedicated area for younger fans. On Sunday, from 12 noon to 3 pm, a DJ set will also provide the soundtrack to the final day of the event.
