EXPERIENCE

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza is not only a legendary place for racing lovers, but aspires to become an integral part of daily life for enthusiasts all year round. Our moral commitment is to preserve and promote these values, and this includes respecting the surrounding environment and adopting sustainable practices.

Through collaboration with our partners, we are transforming circuit access, making it more sustainable and accessible for all. Now it is possible to reach it using public, shared and low environmental impact means of transport such as bike sharing and electric scooters. This initiative not only reduces the environmental impact linked to vehicular traffic, but also contributes to alleviating road congestion and improving the air quality in the surrounding area.

Autodromo Nazionale Monza has achieved the prestigious ISO 20121:2024 certification, awarded by RINA, for its commitment to sustainable event management. This international recognition confirms the adoption of high standards aimed at reducing environmental impact, promoting inclusion, and enhancing organizational efficiency.

To reach this important milestone, we have implemented a comprehensive management system that integrates the analysis and evaluation of the environmental, social, and economic impacts of events; the definition of sustainable objectives and performance indicators (KPIs); the active engagement of stakeholders, including the public, suppliers, local communities, and institutions; and the adoption of concrete measures to reduce consumption, emissions, and waste while improving accessibility and inclusiveness. This approach is supported by a continuous improvement plan, reinforced through internal audits and periodic reviews.

This achievement builds on the significant progress made during the Formula 1 Pirelli Gran Premio d’Italia 2025, an edition that further strengthened the “Temple of Speed”’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. During the event, the waste separation rate reached 62.97%, marking an 11.85% increase compared to 2024. A total of 26 water stations and 120 refill points, 110 of which dedicated to fans,  were installed, helping to avoid the use of more than 480,000 plastic bottles.

Our goal is to make the Autodromo Nazionale Monza an example of excellence not only in the sporting field, but also in the environmental and social field. We will continue to work towards this goal, collaborating with the local community, our partners and all those who share our vision of a more sustainable and inclusive future. Living and breathing the unique atmosphere of the Temple of Speed should be an experience accessible to all, without compromising our commitment to the protection of the environment and natural resources.
