ACI RACING WEEKEND: LAMBORGHINI WINS THE 3-HOUR RACE. FAN ZONE PROVES A HIT WITH FANS

On a Sunday marked by typically summer-like heat, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza hosted the final day of the fourth round of the ACI Racing Weekend season, delivering a day full of excitement, emotions, and top-class motorsport for fans.

The high temperatures and blazing sunshine did not keep spectators away, as they enthusiastically took part in the many activities organized in the Fan Zone. Particularly popular were the ACI Esport simulators, the autograph session with the stars of the Formula Regional European Championship, and the Meet & Greet with several drivers from the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship, the Italian F4 Championship, and TCR Italy.

On track, the highlight of the day was the 3-Hour race of the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship, which brought the weekend’s racing program to a close. Victory went to the crew of Edoardo Liberati, Mattia Michelotto, and Ignazio Zanon, driving the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2 run by  VSR.

Among the categories in action, Emanuele Olivieri (R-ace GP)  claimed his first victory in the FIA Formula Regional European Championship, a major milestone for the 17-year-old driver from Asti and a member of the ACI Team Italia.

There was also plenty of excitement in the Italian F4 Championship, where Finnish driver Luka Sammalisto (US Racing) completed a remarkable hat-trick, following up his Saturday success with victories in Race 3 and the weekend’s final race, further establishing himself as one of the season’s leading contenders.

In TCR Italy, Argentine driver Ramiro Zago celebrated from the top step of the podium behind the wheel of the Honda Civic FL5 fielded by MM Motorsport.

Success also came for Andrea Bristot, who secured victory in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia with the colors of Dinamic Motorsport
