SCORCHING SATURDAY DELIVERS THE FIRST RESULTS OF THE ACI RACING WEEKEND

Extreme temperatures and hard-fought races. Saturday at the ACI Racing Weekend at Autodromo Nazionale Monza delivered excitement from the early hours of the day, with track temperatures exceeding 50°C and air temperatures reaching 37°C during the hottest moments, putting drivers, cars, and tires under severe strain.

In the FIA Formula Regional European Championship, victories went to British driver Kean Nakamura-Berta and Emirati driver Rashid Al Dhaheri of R-ace GP. International success was also celebrated in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, where Finland’s Luka Sammalisto and Australia’s Noah Killion claimed victories, both driving the Tatuus F4-T421 entered by US Racing.

In the TCR Italy, Denis Babuin stood on the top step of the podium with the Audi fielded by his own team, Planet Motorsport. Meanwhile, in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, victory went to Andrea Bristot, who won aboard the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 992 entered by Dinamic Motorsport.

The ACI Racing Weekend will conclude tomorrow with a Sunday packed with action. The highlight of the day will be the three-hour race of the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance, scheduled to start at 3:00 PM. The pole position was secured by the crew consisting of French driver Arthur Rogier, Belgian driver Baptiste Moulin, and Indian driver Sanjay Sai Thirugnana in the McLaren 720S GT3.

There are also numerous activities dedicated to fans in the Fanzone, where the ACI ESport driving simulators have already proven extremely popular. Tomorrow’s schedule includes an autograph session with drivers from the FIA Formula Regional European Championship (10:30 AM) and a Meet & Greet with some of the stars of the Italian championships (12:10 PM), giving fans an even closer look at the world of motorsport.

Admission to Autodromo Nazionale Monza will be free, allowing spectators to watch the races from the open viewing areas and take part in the side events organized throughout the venue. The paddock, however, will remain restricted to team personnel and accredited media representatives.
