Autodromo Nazionale Monza opens its doors to shared micromobility by Dr

For the first time, urban micromobility enters the Temple of Speed: Autodromo Nazionale Monza is equipped with the sharing scooter and bicycle service from Dott , one of the European leaders in the sector.

The operator, already present since 2020 in the city of Monza with a fleet of 250 scooters and 100 ebikes, has extended its operational area to reach the gates of the Autodromo, where a special rack has been installed in which to park the vehicles so as to guarantee orderly parking. Here, a sufficient number of Dott vehicles will always be ensured at the disposal of visitors to the Autodrome, who will therefore be able to reach the circuit and circulate within it in the name of sustainability. At the same time, this collaboration will also allow the Autodromo’s employees and collaborators to be able to make the so-called home-work trips on board a valid ecological, innovative and safe alternative, thus avoiding the use of private vehicles.

The expansion of Dott’s electric bicycle and scooter sharing service within the Monza National Autodrome is an excellent result from the perspective of sustainable mobility. – commented Giuseppe Redaelli, president of SIAS Autodromo Nazionale Monza – A service that will certainly be appreciated by tourists who visit Monza and who will be able to arrive directly at the circuit with the Dott vehicles or who will be able to pick them up from the Autodromo to move towards the city center. Micromobility in the name of safety and respect for the environment, increasingly fundamental themes for the Autodromo Nazionale Monza”.

“We have been working with Autodromo Nazionale Monza for some time, organizing safe scooter driving courses for students and we are very enthusiastic about continuing this collaboration by extending our presence on a very important territory for us where we see the numbers of the service growing daily: from the beginning year, users in the Monza area increased by 21%.” – explains Andrea Giaretta, Regional General Manager South-East Europe of DrSustainability and respect for the environment represent an essential focus for our reality and offer a alternative transport method to private vehicles, which complements the public system, also for employees and visitors of the Autodrome, is a further and concrete step towards the modal change underway.
