CONSORZIO VILLA REALE E PARCO DI MONZA CONFIRMS THE ALLOCATION OF AUTODROMO TO THE ACI

During the first meeting of the newly appointed Board of Management of the Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza, held on 20 June 2026, strategic guidelines regarding the concession of Autodromo Nazionale Monza were approved.

Among the resolutions adopted, the Consorzio confirmed the allocation of the circuit and its related assets to the Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI), recognizing it as the sole organization acknowledged by both CONI and the FIA as capable of ensuring the venue’s continued national and international prominence.

The decision is intended to guarantee the continuation of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix and the major motorsport events hosted at the circuit, while fully respecting ACI’s autonomy in the organization and management of motor racing activities.

The Consorzio also reaffirmed that the operation of Autodromo Nazionale Monza must be carried out in full respect of the cultural, historical and landscape heritage of the site. Furthermore, it requested that all activities conducted within the circuit’s grounds remain consistent with and coordinated alongside the strategic plans, programmes and management of the Royal Villa of Monza and its Park.

The resolution was adopted by the newly renewed Board of Management of the Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza for the 2026–2030 term. The renewal process was completed with the appointment of Angelo Crespi, Director General of Grande Brera, designated by the Italian Ministry of Culture, and Fabrizio Felippone, CEO of Project Automation, designated by Assolombarda.

The Board also includes Alberto Dossi, Chairman of the Sapio Group, appointed by the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce; Luca Tommasi, gallery owner and cultural entrepreneur, appointed by the President of the Lombardy Regional Government; Marco Sala, confirmed as the representative of the Municipality of Milan; and Luca Santambrogio, President of the Province of Monza and Brianza and Mayor of Meda, appointed by the Province of Monza and Brianza.
