ITALIAN ONE-TWO IN EUROCUP-3: COLNAGHI WINS AHEAD OF RINICELLA

Italian one-two finish in Race 2 of the fourth seasonal round of the Eurocup-3, a series organized by the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, held this weekend at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza: local driver Mattia Colnaghi, behind the wheel of the Tatuus managed by MP Motorsport, claimed his third victory of the season ahead of teammate Valerio Rinicella. The Italo-Argentine is now just 4 points behind the Mexican Emilio Rivera, who, after winning Saturday’s race, finished fifth (136 to 132).

Like on Saturday, the second race of the XGT4 Supersport GT also saw the crew formed by Lorenzo Tocci and Slovenian Mark Kastelic crossing the finish line victorious with their Mercedes AMG GT4. Lorenzo Mariani, driving the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo2, secured victory in the second Supersport GT event alongside Alessio Scauzillo.

Estonian Haralds Slegelmilhs scored a double with the World Series Dallara, powered by the Renault V8, fielded by Austrian HS Engineering in the BossGP. Alessandro Bollini also repeated his Legend Cars success, winning Race 2, while Race 3 was won by Alberto Naska, although Luca Franca crossed the finish line first but was penalized 5 seconds. Naska also won Race 1 in the Lotus Cup Italia, while the second race was claimed by Massimo Abbati.
