LAMBORGHINI WORLD FINALS: MONZA SWARMS WITH MOTORSPORT FANS

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza came alive on Saturday, 24 October, with the opening day of the 2026 Lamborghini World Finals. Thousands of motorsport fans flocked to the Temple of Speed to attend the penultimate day of the event, which brings together competitors from the various Lamborghini Super Trofeo championships, featuring the first World Finals races.

The TR3 Racing American team pairing of Dennis Lind and Elias De La Torre, along with Poland’s Andrzej Lewandowski, claimed overall victories in the two opening races of the 13th edition of the Lamborghini World Finals.

Lind got the weekend off to a flying start by securing pole position in the first of the two Pro qualifying sessions. The Danish driver, who also won the finals for cars from Sant’Agata Bolognese back in 2016, immediately took the lead in the race for the top categories and held it until the pit stops, when he handed over the wheel to De La Torre. His teammate rejoined the track still in the lead and went on to secure victory ahead of the Leipert Motorsport duo of Brendon Leitch and Nicolas Stati, with New Zealander Will Bamber (XO9 Racing) finishing third.

In the same race, the Pro-Am class was won by the newly crowned Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe champions Bronislav Formanek and Anthony Pretorius. Racing for Micanek Motorsport powered by Buggyra, they crossed the finish line seventh overall.

In the Am race, victory went to Andrzej Lewandowski, who was making his tenth appearance at the Lamborghini World Finals. He won the same class at Portimão in 2022 and claimed the Pro-Am title at Jerez in 2019. The ASR team driver dominated from start to finish, while in the Lamborghini Cup, American Rocky Bolduc of Topp Racing came out on top.

The event reaches its grand finale tomorrow, with the two races scheduled for 11:05 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Admission is free, with parking the only charge.

The Fanzone is open, featuring food trucks, a relaxation area and activities for children. Music will also take centre stage from noon to 3 p.m., with a DJ set.
