A celebratory concert by the Band of the Guardia di Finanza for the centenary of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza

The band of the Guardia di Finanza will celebrate the centenary of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza by playing on the starting grid of the Circuit on 3 September. Exactly one hundred years after the day on which the Temple of Speed hosted its first race in 1922, the building complex of the Corps will perform an hour and a half concert on the starting line which, the following week, will be trodden. from Formula 1 single-seaters.

The musical performance will begin at 7 pm and will be open for free to the public who will be able to access the Circuit from the entrance of Viale Vedano 5 in Monza and follow the concert from the central grandstand. The repertoire will range from classical to contemporary music with particular attention to Italian music pieces.

The band of the Guardia di Finanza played the Mameli anthem for the 2021 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at the Autodrome last year. The stable artistic complex was born in 1926 and is made up of 102 performers, titled by the various national conservatories. The performances of the band are receiving more and more public acclaim, so much so that this year they were asked to open the final evening of the Sanremo Festival live.
